According to reports, Jerry “The King” Lawler, 73, was discovered face down outside his house in Fort Myers, Florida, on Tuesday after having a stroke. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. Lawler is a member of the WWE Hall of Fame.
Before receiving surgery, Lawler was unable to talk and had lost all sensation on the right side of his body; nevertheless, he seemed to be making progress after the procedure.
The most recent time that Lawler participated in the wrestling promotion was as a pre-show analyst for the “Royal Rumble” that took place a month ago. In 2012, he was filming a live episode of “Monday Night Raw” when he suddenly collapsed from a heart attack.
On the same day that Lawler had the stroke, his longtime buddy Dutch Mantell tweeted that Lawler “experienced paralysis on his right side immediately after the stroke.”

According to the most recent reports, he has partially recovered the use of his arm after the accident. His speech is still impacted, although the recovery process is taking a little bit longer. However, he is making progress.
Lawler has competed in professional wrestling for more than half a century and most recently competed one month ago.
